  • "Grooming, Mane Pulling, & Braiding Mini Clinic"

    Saturday, February 20th March 27th at 10 am

    • Learn the correct way to pull a mane, what tools to use and how to groom and braid for shows. Also learn about tools you can use on horses who do not like their mane pulled.

      English braiding will be for the dressage horse. Western banding will also be demonstrated. This is a hands on clinic, individuals will get a chance to practice on one of Timber Ridge’s friendly horses.

    • Fee: $10.00

  • "Horse Trailer Safety Clinic"

    Saturday, April 17th at 10 am

    • Looking for a new horse trailer?

      Have questions on hitches or tow vehicles?

      Ever worry about what to do if you’re in an accident with your horse?

      All your trailer safety questions answered in this clinic.

      Want your trailer inspected?

      Call for a time slot – limited availability.

      Speakers include trailer salesperson and Dr. Jana Tuckerman.

      Fee: $15.00

      Approximate time of event – 2 hours.

  • "Preparing for a Dressage Show Clinic" with Trainer Carola Liljegren

    Saturday, May 1st at 10 am

    • Learn how to get started showing dressage, learn show etiquette, learn what clothing and tack is appropriate, get tips on how to prepare for your test, how to prepare your horse, and pointers on how to have a successful show.

      Fee: $10.00

      Approximate length of event – 1 hour

    • Learn everything above, plus trailer in your horse and have a 45 minute lesson with trainer Carola Liljegren. She will give you suggestions on how to improve your riding and have you ride a practice test.

      Fee: $45.00/45 min. riding lesson

  • "Equine Nutrition Mini Clinic"

    Saturday, August 28th, 2010. at 10 am

    • Gain knowledge on how to evaluate the body condition of your equine, learn the nutritional needsof horses in all stages of life and how to make sure your equine is getting the nutrition they need.

      Get information on when it is necessary and appropriate to supplement your horse’s diet.

      Speaker: Melissa Drew – Kalmbach Feeds

      Fee: $10.00
